About Us

IMPROVING LIVES

Ancillacare is a collaborative, community based organization, formed by concerned community members and members of faith based organization. Provincial House Ndiagu Ogidi (Anambra State) and currently operates in Anambra State. We provide psycho-social support to victims of violence, and have already trained 40 community based trauma and bereavement counsellors in the Orumba South LGA. We provide emergency humanitarian support (food, clothing and access to health care) to the homeless, destitute and mentally challenged. We also provide livelihoods training and business start up support to the unemployed.

Abject poverty has reached record levels in Nigeria. In the South East, livelihoods have been destroyed by insurgents and gunmen, leaving countless unable to provide for themselves or their families. Many children have been left orphaned, and many victims of violence have had mental breakdowns. Your generosity today is an investment in our programmes to help improve the lives of the most marginalized and vulnerable members in our society through humanitarian relief, access to education, healthcare, nutrition, skills training, livelihoods support and psycho-social interventions.
